Cookie settings

You decide for each purpose separately. Without your consent everything below stays off, and the website still works. By selecting “Accept all” or “Save selection” you consent to information being stored on and read from your device (Section 25(1) TDDDG) and to us and the providers named processing your data for the purposes you choose (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). For marketing you also expressly consent to Google or Meta learning that you are interested in a blood test or have ordered one (Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR). After you consent, we load the chosen services via Google Tag Manager from servers of Google Ireland Ltd., which receives your IP address. We remember your choice for 6 months and ask again sooner if purposes or providers change. You can withdraw your consent at any time here or via “Cookie settings” in the footer. Withdrawal takes effect from then on; processing before it remains lawful. More in our privacy policy.

Necessary

Stores your choice in this banner: cookie “lr_consent” (6 months, set by us; only version, choice and time, no identifier). Otherwise only where a function needs it: your language choice and the state of your order in your browser’s local storage (no identifier); in the checkout, the cookies “__stripe_mid” (1 year) and “__stripe_sid” (30 minutes) of our payment provider Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (Ireland) to prevent fraud; to protect against attacks and bots, the cookies “__cf_bm” (30 minutes) and “cf_clearance” (30 minutes) of our host Cloudflare, Inc. (USA), which also checks browser characteristics for this. Our own count of page views stores and reads nothing on your device and does not recognise you.

We analyse which pages are visited and which buttons are used, and we test variants of our pages (A/B tests), to improve the website. For this we use Google Analytics 4: Google receives your IP address, device and browser details, the pages and events you view and a random identifier, and processes the data on our behalf. For A/B tests our server assigns you to a test group and remembers it in a cookie.

Providers: CHIRAYOU GmbH (A/B tests), Google Ireland Limited, Ireland (processor)

Third country: Also processed in the USA (EU-US Data Privacy Framework, Art. 45 GDPR)

Cookies: _ga (6 months), _ga_N543GR4LNC (6 months), ch_abid (6 months), ch_ab_… (6 months)

Google Ads measures whether you order a blood test after clicking one of our ads, and uses this to serve, optimise and personalise ads. For this Google stores identifiers on your device and receives the pages you view (with their address), your IP address, device details and events such as starting and completing an order (with order value). Google processes these data as an independent controller also for its own purposes, combines them with other data about you, for example from your Google account and from other websites, and builds advertising profiles from them. In doing so Google learns that you are interested in a blood test or have ordered one. You hereby expressly consent to this processing (Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR).

Providers: Google Ireland Limited, Ireland (independent controller)

Third country: Also processed in the USA (EU-US Data Privacy Framework, Art. 45 GDPR)

Cookies: _gcl_au (90 days), _gcl_aw (90 days), _gcl_gb (90 days), _gcl_gs (90 days), _gcl_ls (local storage, no expiry), Google cookies on google.com/doubleclick.net, e.g. IDE (up to 13 months)

Meta (Facebook, Instagram) uses the Meta Pixel to measure whether you order a blood test or sign up for our newsletter after clicking one of our ads, and uses this to serve, optimise and personalise ads, including for people with similar characteristics. For this Meta stores identifiers on your device and receives the pages you view (with their address), your IP address, device details and these events (orders with order value), directly and also via the Meta Conversions API Gateway, which Meta runs on Amazon Web Services servers in the USA. Meta links the data to your Facebook or Instagram account and to data from other websites and builds advertising profiles from them. In doing so Meta learns that you are interested in a blood test or have ordered one. You hereby expressly consent to this processing (Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR). We and Meta are joint controllers for the collection and transmission; Meta alone is responsible for everything after that.

Providers: Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Ireland (joint controller with us for collection and transmission)

Third country: Also processed in the USA (EU-US Data Privacy Framework, Art. 45 GDPR)

Cookies: _fbp (90 days), _fbc (90 days, only after clicking a Meta ad), Meta cookies on facebook.com, e.g. fr (90 days)
